Good location away form the casino's and within walking distance of the old city centre. Nice view of the Macau Tower and sea. Shuttle bus service to the ferry terminal.
Staff's English was very poor. They did not seem to listen to what we asked, giving answers that were incorrect or just not regarding the topic of our question. We asked when we arrived if we ould have breakfast the next day and the receptionist told us that we could just walk into the breakfast room and tell the staff there our room number, so it would be charged to the room. The price was said to be 45 hkd. The next morning, we had to explain to 4 different people that we were hotel guests and therefore we did not nees a breakfast coupon as we would pay for breakfast with our hotel bill. Also, the price for breakfast turned out to be 75 hkd. When we could finally sit down for breakfast, immediately a bill of 150 hkd was placed on our table, making us have to explain everything again. There seems to be insufficient communication between the hotel reception staff and the breakfast restaurant staff.
The view to the macau tower.
Only one woman speaks good english at the front desk. All the other staff hard to communicate with.
When I checked in, staff at reception desk promised to cancel the pre- approved credit card slip for the amount of deposit and room charge, and then redo a credit card payment for room charge only when we checked out. However, they tried not to do so and said that they will arrange refund to my credit card in a few days. That way I'm not sure whether the deposit will be refund to my credit card. I don't like this practice as it would be difficult for me to follow up for the refund after I left. Therefore, it wasted me time for insisting the agreed procedures for charging room rate and refund of deposit.
I like the best that there was a shuttle service every 30 minutes, but then again I think all hotels have that
Basicly there is nothing to do in the hotel. In the room there are only a few channels. There is not even a movie channel. I booked a smoking room but the placed me in non smoking room. So everytime I have to go to the roof to smoke a sigaette. One of their restaurants was closed. Spa wasn't there. So you could stay only in youre room or go out. I booked a garden vieuw, but instead I had to stare at the wall.
The food was good and the shuttle bus service is useful.
The service was really poor. None of the staff we encountered was remotely customer service orientated,eg, I had to practically beg to get a cup and saucer to take to my room. The room service meals we ordered arrived in stages, forcing us to eat separately.
Great location to view the city of Macau, especially during the stay we could watch the Fireworks Competition - from the roof of the hotel itself!
It provides shuttle bus to and from the ferry pier, but it was impossible for us to locate the bus - no sign or direction available.
The shuttle bus service made up for the location, which was a bit far from the city center.
The staff doesn't speak English very well, which made the communication a bit difficult
Very basic hotel nothing to do at all in this hotel , miss leading advertizing and false . this hotel only to put your head to sleep .no sweming pool as advertized or bar nothing........ Never ever stay there again book through Booked.net
The view from the harbour window was wonderful. It is quiet yet close to the attractions. The staff were very friendly, and some spoke excellent english.
The room needed decorating - the furniture was broken and scratched. The bathroom needed a complete overhaul.
Outside of noisy downtown
On arrivial the booking were wrong. Very noise old ac at best 3 star hotel no taxi available "can not reach taxi center"...
Affordable price for twin room and faily good location closed to center of the city
smells bad at first.
They provide free half-hourly shuttle bus to the city.
The hotel is a little jaded, but everything works as they are supposed to.
We stayed on 31/12/2011 when there was firework countdown at the city tower. The room provided excellent view of the firework.
Good view, quiet.
Rather expensive for the quality, could be a 3 stars NEVER a 5 stars hotel. Old and creepy furniture.
Harbor view is good, special for firework day.
Reception check in staff impolite, no free wifi in room and charge much $150 per day. Internet fee even expensive than 5 star hotel. Not Suggest for vacation.
