Overall, the hotel is comfortable and the room is clean.
I think the travellers are not in room most of the time, and the free service bus is half an hour per trip, most of the time , we need to made call for taxi to town, and if the hotel rate can lower further , the better and attractive.
bay view available, good start point for travel in Macau
It is very clean and the location is perfect and the room rate is very good for its value.
As the hotel was located on a hillside and was free from gaming and other entertainment venues the conditions of the surroundings were quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Although out of the town centre and hotel stretch it had easy access to downtown restaurants and shopping etc. I
The front desk staff seemed to be a bit raw and inexperienced while handling check-outs and settlement of bills possibly being just out from hospitality training schools. It would also have been ideal if they were equipped with a nice and quiet spa to relax and unwind in
Good position, minutes walk into the old town; Nice sea views though need to climb a hill to the hotel but free shuttle bus is provided to town and back so not a problem if you don,t like walking up hills. A lot of services (eg pool) were advertised as closed, but be aware the wifi can be unavailable and the self-service drink machines have a mind of their own. First night was charged holiday rate and was not worth it. Second night was half that price and that is a more reasonable price for what you get.
1. All-pervading smell of cigarette smoke. The Sintra & Pousada de Mong Ha for example have smoke free rooms. 2. Internet is extra - you have to buy cards from Reception.. When I am in & out of my room at all-hours that was annoying and inconvenient. Again, the Sintra & Pousada include internet access in the room rate.
It is close to many places of interests. The shuttle bus is punctual every 30 minites
The sink is not 100% clean. Being a 5-star hotel, it should address more details.
confortable bed, room clean
hotel staff speaks bad english, hotel are not helpfull, hotel staff will give you a map of the city only in chinese language, expensive internet access, location of hotel is bad
Very helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The view from the large, very comfortable room was breathtaking. The hotel was very quiet & I could not hear any other guests or external noise.
I couldn't find the shuttle bus when I arrived so had to take a taxi. The room was a bit cold. I was glad to have a jumper in my luggage.
the room is clean.
well, never lived near the elevator, in our first room, we could hear the noise of machine. however they changed room for us, and become much more better.
The hotel location seems a little far from center area, but it is easy to go either by 10 minutes walking or charge free shuttle bus service which serves in every 30 minuts. Comparing with many hotels in Macau which are famous in Casino, but very noisy or crowdy, Hotel Riviera Macau has no Casino business. So, it is a very quiet and peaceful place among the hotels in Macau. Additionally, from hotel the shuttle bus's first stop is very near for tourests to go to many sightseeing points of world heritages...
Sofa was ripped and should have been replaced. Also no mention of swimming pool or fitness room mentioned anywhere before I selected hotel, otherwise I would not have stayed there
lokasi yang menghadap macau tower
Centrally located, so we could walk to the Macau peninsula casinos and the Tower.
Beds are smaller than they look and very hard. Very noisy in the mornings- lots of Chinese yelling going on. English level is rather low.
Staff not so great to say the least
